General retreat info

This will be a five day Polymer Clay retreat in Stoupa, Greece from Mon 5th - Fri 9th October 2015. The first and last days (Monday and Friday) are free for claying, playing, swimming or exploring. The middle 3 days are for workshops and/or free clay play.

The aim of this retreat is simply working together doing what we all love, sharing knowledge, techniques and inspiration, doing valuable networking and possibly having some new material and tools to try out but also having time off to explore and enjoy the area. It is very exciting that this is the first polymer clay retreat organised in beautiful Greece, famous throughout the ages for art and artists.

The retreat will be in the Hotel Lefktron, Stoupa, Messinia 24024 GREECE. The Lefktron is right in the centre of Stoupa, about 80 metres from the sea, with outdoor as well as indoor work space, depending on weather. It has a fabulous swimming pool and pool bar.

Well known PC artist and teacher, Pam Annesley from Australia would like to teach at the retreat. All inquiries about classes should be directed to her in person. Contact details on Program & Workshop page.

More about the name of the retreat, Meraki in Mani..... ''Meraki'' is a beautiful word that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love — when you put "something of yourself, i.e. your soul" into what you're doing, whatever it may be. Like polymer clay!

Mani is the area where the retreat will be happening. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, the real Greece, and a very good place to do something with meraki!
